Hamafitz has a New Owner

In a message from Reb Eli Schapiro, the 25 year long owner of Hamafitz, he announced that he has sold the retail part of the business to Reb Mendel Vogel. Full message in the extended article.

Message from Rabbi Eliezer Lipa Shapiro of Hamafitz STaM

I would like to thank our Crown Heights and worldwide customers for their patronage for the past 25 years.
At the same time, I would like to inform you of our most recent changes. As of Sunday the 3rd of Sivan 5770, May 18, 2010, I have sold Hamafitz Judaica store in Crown Heights to Reb Mendel Vogel. I wish him much hatzlocha.

I am continuing to sell and repair STaM: Sifrei Torah, Tefillin and Mezuzahs for Shluchim, organizations, and locals, concentrating on improving service and prices. In addition, I will continue to sell top quality esrogim, wholesale and retail, for the most competitive prices.
