Oholei Torah Building New Playground

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Over last few days, laborers have been hard at work preparing one of Oholei Torahs new properties to be converted into a playground.

Over the past few years the school has been trying to acquire the three houses between the Brooklyn Avenue corner and the yeshiva building for expansion, and have so far managed to buy two of them.

This will be the 5th playground Oholei Torah has built, and are rushing to have it ready so that the students can enjoy it in this nice weather.

For stuff like this thy dont seem to have an issue finding money, but when it comes to a proper education thy just send innocent student like me away. I felt as if i was kicked to the curb.

. this is an amazing idea those greedy chayos are going to run away so fast now that they are surrounded by kids playing from 3 sides, they will even sell for 3-4 hundred

To: ‘to what time’- What a horrible thing to say!! Would YOU want to be run out of YOUR house because others wanted to buy it????!! One has to be a mentch at ALL times! – Sara

  • To Business man

Business man, you are way out of line. What should they have done specifically? Maybe being a business man you can sponsor what you felt lacking. Maybe OT was not a good fit for you. Don’t carry bitterness and a grudge. It’s not healthy for you or your children

Ahh it’s nice, The halacha says about building a school near a residence, but this Man, I remember Yossel Rosenfeld saying how he offered the Man fair (good) MOney for the house,

Now i hope the boys go in for the kill, and keep the Shots coming untill he cracks, Rather the should mesh the Foundatiuon

  • safe location?

is that a safe place for a playground? open to the public prying eyes?
its a busy corner and open access through the playground’s gates.
maybe put up covered gates, a wall perhaps
