I was there. It was incredible. There were closer to 400 people there this evening not 100.
It was a truly chassidishe farbrengen. With the “pnei”, the real chassidishe Lubavitchers participating. It was a very warm real “chassidim ain Mishpocha” feeling
May his neshama have an aliya and may he be a melitz yosher for the entire family and klall yisroel.. I heard just wonderful words from everyone there.

i am only sorry that I did not bring my children (bochurim and even the younger one) so they can see what a real chassidishe farbrengen and gathering is like. And they should see the achdus when we want it to be

I daven in empire shtiebel but was away and missed this gathering. From what I hear, it was le’shem u’letiferes.
I wish I had been there to honor the rav of so many years. His presence alone was enough for us to see what a real frum, chassidisher yid looks and acts like.

I remember his constant smile even in the last few months of his life…how as a true Rov he would hesitate when answering a very simple shyla (as to make one think that the question had merit). He is surely missed by all of us.
