Just as hundreds of Crown Heights homes finished ‘turning over’ their kitchens back to normal, the lines in the neighborhoods two pizza shops, Kingston Pizza and The Kertchme, kept getting longer and longer.

Forget about the nice comments telling everyone how good they look, I’d rather focus on the fact that the Pizza gets thrown into the air by someone with no gloves and probably just spent a long hour in the bathroom after eating the first batch of delicious pizza. I could also focus on the guy who puts his hand into the cheese and on the pizza for the sake of a picture. I’m thanking my lucky stars that I didn’t eat any pizza after Pesach!
Someone should probably make a facebook group for hygienic pizza in crown heights.
P.S. When I write someone should make a FB group, I mean like everyone else who has good ideas – someone else should make the FB group, not me.
P.S.S. Hygienic means clean. I have just taught half of Lubavitch a new word.

Motchkin makes pizza like Sperlin makes politics. Oy vey iz mir!
pizza pita fan
What about pizza pita in montreal??!!
SOME ACHDUS
let me know of one pizza shop in the world, where they roll the pizza with gloves on their hands. enough putting fellow (hardworking honest) yidden DOWN.
uncle moisy and the pizza song :)
kretchme was awesome was in there less then 20 mins and had 2 pies which tasted awesome!!

Chalerer
Hey theres Mussel yuchkin.
KVETCHIN- FOR THE KRETCHME
Besides making the best tasting Pizza in the Shechuneh, The Kretchme takes CREDIT CARDS, unlike other pizza establishment, at which one must first visit the ATM machine to kvetch out some money! Hello! its 2010! Get a credit card machine! Anyways, I would probably use The Kretchme regardless- spacious, always a video playing for the kids, soda in bottles that I can walk home with, if I did’nt finish them. Oh yeh… miraculously crispy fries! Regular, spicy, they got em all! But most of all- its great to be served by chassidishe Yidden with broad smiles…
By the way- does your mother wear gloves when she cooks, right after diapering you baby brother, sister, twins, whatever?! The heat kills the germs any ways!
KRETCHME! KRETCHME! KRETCHME! KRETCHME!

First and foremost I would like thank you, in behalf of every single staff member at KINGSTON PIZZA for your patronage, day by day you had made possible our way of earning an honest living and your suggestions are always appreciated.
Regarding your concerns upon hair covering, gloves and hand sanitation, I’d like to reply by saying that members of our Pizzeria have taken the Food Handling Curse and succed & received our certificates; We observe their rules and regulations, not merely to maintain our business open, but also out of respect for our customer and may I dare say “us”, remember, we eat this food as well.
1.-Hats are Mandatory for perssonel that Prepares Food, if you look closely, both, the Pizzaman & myself are wearing hats. ( yarmulkes count)
2,-There are instances where gloves are not mandatory, EXCEPT when Food is cooked & out of the fire and, in order to serve needs to be touched. ( waiters don’t use gloves when they bring your dish to the table. do they? but chefs use them to put your plate together)
There are many rules and examples to this subject matter, therefore, to conclude, I would like to invite you to use this tool ( the internet) to educate ourselves, your queries are utterly valid but unfortunately this space is too small to cover all aspects. Rest assure that we strife for better service and Hygiene, reason why we have NEVER EVER found ourselves at the brink of being shut down by the Health Deparment, unlike many others ( dont worry,I will be a MENCHT and wont disclose names)
Thanks once again and dont forget to stop by and buy some CHOMETZS.
kindest regards.
