ULY Auction Men’s Event, an Amazing Success!

Hundreds of men gathered Motzai Shabbos in order to support a local mossad, United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street. There was a special viewing of the auction prizes, and men had an opportunity to purchase tickets and go for items.

The evening was capped by a humorous performance by comedian Joel Chasnoff, alongside Rabbi Simcha Weinstein who was the master of ceremonies, and a lavish Flaishig buffet and cocktails.

Due to the extremely cold weather and for your convenience Lubavitcher Yeshiva Chinese Auction will have a bus driving up and down Kingston, Albany, Brooklyn and Troy, from Eastern Parkway to East New York Avenue. You can stand on any corner and flag down the bus. There will be buses to bring you home as well.

  • thank you

    thank you.

  • Me

My husband came home, and said that the comedian was distracted by the little kids there. I dont understand why parents have to bring their kids to an event that is made as a guys night out,,, my hubby left his kids home,, couldnt urs have too?? Aside for some of the jokes that were innapropriate for the boys to hear,, what u think is good for your kids is ur business,, but really now,, wasnt my husband entitled to the night out, the advertisement promised?? I hope they will be more strict tonite,, I would like to enjoy myself.

  • kids not listening

the comedy guy was very funny but as what the person wrote about the kids the comdey guy was distracted by the little kids only because they where told many times to get up and give seats to adults and didn’t and me not coming from ch i think it was very chutzpah of the kids what are parents teaching their kids.

YOU WANTED THE HARD WORKING MEN TO COME AND DONATE THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A TZEDOKOH CAUSE MANY CAME WITH THEIR CHILDREN OF COURSE THEY PAID $20 EACH BUT MANY CAME AND DONATED MORE BUT WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR THE ENTERTAIMENT THE SEATS WERE OCCUPIED BY THE CHILDREN AND WHATS WITH THE HARD WORKING MEN THAT DIDN’T HAVE A CHANCE TO NAP ON THIS SHORT SHABBOS AND HAD TO STAND ON THEIR FEET AND ALSO EAT STANDING RETHINK THE POLICY OR BY NEXT YEAR THE GIVING CROWD CAN BE MAYBE CUT IN HALF.
