Yagdil Torah Beis Hamidrash Plans Get A Green Light

CROWN HEIGHTS — Yagdil Torah has just signed an agreement which will allow for the opening of a full-time and full-service Beis Hamidrash!

Yagdil Torah has reached an agreement with Chevra Shas to lease its second floor to serve as a Beis Hamidrash for the residents of Crown Heights.

Despite its attempts to sustain a similar model by joining with an existing Shul, Yagdil Torah has not succeeded in finding a location that would be able to provide the criteria needed. Yagdil Torah has realized that a proper Beis Hamidrash would necessitate a place of its own.

With its own site, Yagdil Torah will accommodate ongoing small Shiurim, Chavrusah learning and individual study through providing constant accessibility and precluding the need for cancellation or relocation due to conflicting schedules. A more permanent location will also attract more interest in Torah learning.

Yagdil Torah is intent on creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere conducive to Limmud HaTorah. With all essential amenities such as necessary Seforim, a properly conditioned room and refreshments, Yagdil Torah will provide Anash with a haven dedicated to strengthening the very backbone of our community – Limmud HaTorah.

What’s next?

The location is presently being renovated to suit the specifications of the Beis Hamidrash.

During the interim, Yagdil Torah is taking steps to raise funds for the initial costs and development of the Beis Hamidrash.
