Erev Yom Tov Kiddush Hashem by Hatzalah
An elderly Black man collapsed Erev Yom Kippur on Carroll Street near Kingston Avenue, suffering from what appeared to be a heart attack and thanks to a call to Hatzalah the mans chances of survival were significantly increased.
A Lubavitcher who witnessed the man collapse didn’t hesitate and called Hatzlah who responded in large numbers and managed to stabilize the victim until FDNY arrived and took over. The members of Hatzalah were seen walking off the city ambulance in which the patient was transported.
The man apparently lived in a basement on the block, and a woman who lives on the first floor said “I think it was really thoughtful of [Hatzalah] to treat the man even though he wasn’t Jewish.”
The condition of the victim wasn’t immediately known.
Let it be known
This should be forwared to the caribbean news paper with a note that Hatzolah helps all people in distress not exclusively jews.

Hatzalah helps all races!
Just another day in the lives these dedicated individuals. I wonder how many calls they got during YK? I saw them tending to a girl on Kingston as I left Shul after Kol Nidre.

A great thought but it will never happen for 2 reasons 1. I doubt anyone would do it & 2. even if someone did either a. It would never be accepted or b. It would never get printed since it doesn’t serve their purpose or the typical agenda
I Was There...
It was such a kiddush Hashem.
It was erev yom kippur – the holiest day for us Jews and within seconds, Hatzala showed up and kept on showing up and did not leave even when the Ambulance arrived, they stayed and offered assistance.
