Reb Dovid Fisher along with Moshe Uri ben Malka and Cong. Anash at 770 Montgomery Street gave the contribution to make this happen.

The Chickens will be available on a first come first serve basis and are for Crown Heights residents only, chickens are not allowed to be taken away from Eastern Parkway. Sales will begin at 2:00pm and go on through 9:00pm at the latest, in front of 824 Eastern Parkway.
“This is a very big relief” said a one Crown Heights mother, adding “that doing Kapores with 6 kids at $10 a chicken is quite difficult especially in these troubled times.”

There are going to be many comments regarding “Fisher” what I would like to add. Is that it is over 20 years that Fisher was removed from leadership in Crown Heights. And my request to you is to think back when we were better off?
When he was here, we had apartments, housing, and peace and tranquility.
We now have a bunch of people who only have a personal agenda. The Badatz self destructed, as it never really did have a true and real foundation, it was only created by the rich to kick out fisher.
The facts are. That 5 buldings were won by the community from fisher, and the “community got zilch. 701 empire blvd belongs to melamed and slavin, this was a building that was going to go to the community. 715 eastern parkway was supposed to belong to the community, and it is in private hands. The building on crown and Albany was supposed to belong to the community, and now belongs to Gurari.
All we have is Machloikes, and strife in this community. All the people that destroyed the community are living happily ever after, so they kicked out fisher…big deal. It is not there kids who need cheap housing. The drizins don’t need cheap housing.
Look even today, fisher builds condos and sells them at cost. Who else did that??? Did Shagalov do that? Did Drizin do that? Sperlin closed down 2 mikvah while fisher built 2 new ones. Spilman shut down 2 Shuls. While fisher shut down 2 churches.
You guys in Crown Heights should sweep the floor in front of him. I will never forget when fishe bought the building on President between Utica and Schenectady. (across from Rabbi groner) he kept the building mostly empty to be able to renovate, and revitalize that part of the community.
Sholon Ber Drizin bought a building on the corner of President and Utica and opened a night club. Shmuel Aizik Popack went and opened a Church one block away from where Fisher bough the building near the matzah bakery and closed the Church.
