In the first game of the series the House of Glatts Kloppers dominated with an 11 to 2 win over the Mulles, but the Mulles came back for game 2 with a 6 to 2 win, and kept it up for the final game.

The Beis Shmuel Mulles now stand alongside the Landmark Fundings Red Heifers and the Print Houses Hebrew Hammers as league champions.

All I see is a bunch of Chassidim trying to emulate Goyim. I wonder if the Rebbe played baseball…. in a baseball uniform. I know, I know, you’re just having fun! Okay, but MOSHIACH IS COMING, and this is what we’re doing????

Great job guys I tip my cap to you……now that the season is over you can all go back to your REAL SHULS ;)

    Ksiva Vachasima tova……

to chani your right mashiach is coming and instead of having ahavas yisroel and trying to do good deeds we are going on to websites and trying to bring down others jews
look at yourself first next time

    Congratulations to the Mulles!
(Of course, we all know that you “bought” the championship!<joke>)

just got this email and i had to send it in!

To the world champion Bais Shmuel Mulles

This will be the last team email

What a great season, who thought that we could take it all and not just win the championship but doing it as a team with class and style!

its actually funny to think that just 4 months age most of our team did not put on a glove since camp (at least 15 years ago ).

We did it by playing together (thats where Cong BS comes in)

I really do not look at myself as a manager I am 1 of 14 guys that went out every game to have fun

I speak for myself when I say i could not of played with better teammates. Thx

    Have a happy new year

    Chesky M

Wish you guys (and everyone) would put the same enthusiasm into bringing Moshiach, Torah and Mitzvos.

    Great images
than you for sharing the experience

We need more avenues of kosher recreation
    keep it up

  • To Chani

    Chani, Chani,

Every article has to have a commentator like you (who I like to refer to as “the screaming lady”)!! It’s okay and keeps us entertained.

Do you not go shopping because “Moshiach is coming?” Do you not listen to music or go to a birthday party because “Moshiach is coming?”

I know that you think that baseball is weird and it’s a Goyish thing to do but that’s only what you think because you are uneducated and do not know how to think for yourself. Like Eli very well said “Moshiach is coming…and you’re trying to put down other Jews”

How can you have Ahavas Yisroel if you think that a Jew who plays ball in a uniform is not pure and holy???

  • To Mulles / Chezky M

Theodore Herzel??? What’s wrong with Midrash, or if you need the cool factor, Rabbi Nachman?

It’s sad that that’s _all_ you see.

I saw team mates working together towards a goal. I saw people encouraging each other to do there best. I saw Jews looking out for their fellow Jews. I saw Yidden making a kiddush hashem through their competitive, yet respectful, games in an otherwise “gentile” neighborhood.

I saw players from all teams congratulating the Mulles. I saw massive league turnout at life’s celebrations (and sadly other events) of other league members.

I saw a whole lot more then a bunch of Chassidim trying to emulate Goyim.

  • Good Job!!

Better these guys should be playing baseball than getting up to the things we hear about in other communities.

  • well said

Congrats Mulles. You beat the defending champs, the number one team this season and the 2 best pitchers in the league.
    You earned it, enjoy.
