Machne Mamosh Visits Ari Halberstam Memorial Site
NEW YORK, NY [CHI] — It may be the last week of camp, but for campers of camp Machne Mamosh, you’d never notice it! Camp has passed by quickly, as day after day is packed with fun and excitement, on this particular day, amongst the many other adventures, campers have chosen to visit the site of the murder of Hatomim Ari Halberstam HY”D.
Campers heard the story of what happened and said some of the 12 Pesukim at the site, with the feeling that we will be reunited with Ari HY”D speedily with the coming of Moshiach.
Several passers-by were amazed to hear the story behind the Ari Halberstam Memorial Ramp, as they could not help but listen in. The campers made a tremendous Kiddush Hashem, impressing all the passers-by, Jew and non-Jew alike.
