Lubavitcher Yeshiva Simcha Hall Undergoing Renovations
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Lubavitcher Yeshiva is investing heavily to make sure the most frequently used Simcha hall in our community looks befitting. Over the past week a team of talented painters have been working round the clock; decorating the walls and meticulously painting every detail to make it look its finest.
Early Wednesday morning, while many of us were still asleep, workers began ripping out the floor and making the floor look brand new all over again.
There are also plans of redoing the ceiling in the very near future.
Celebrate anywhere else
About time! It was disgusting for the past 10+ years. Are they going to replace those dirty chairs at the same time? And clean up the bathrooms AND that revolting kitchen.
Time for upgrading
Ahhhh! Again we see the benefits of competition.
dsfhli
go ALSON for your wonderful work
Lieba Raizel Landa
Are they going to provide a separate entrance for men and
women in order to avoid the mingling that is going on at
every simcha. Lets improve the ruchnius not just the gashmius.

As an American, I know we are all going through tough times. Thus, I appreciate this investment for our community, now, more than ever.
I hope this will benefit the school, as I know the teachers are currently not being payed.
Much Hatzlacha and thank you.
finally!
finally doing something with those ugly walls!
Fellow Jew
Not to assume, but I hope Lubavitch Yeshivah has finally put down gymnasium flooring that is durable, excellent for the school kids, always looks good and has minimal long term maintenance costs in comparison to costly wood. The other hall which I believe is primarily used by the school children as a gymnasium should most DEFINATELY get Gymnasium Flooring when they renovate that. The walls could also use some vibrant solid primary colors like one primary bright red wall and one blue wall. Cleanliness is easier to maintain, the kids with ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT and it will actually look and feel like a gymnasium of fun for the school children, which is what its primary purpose is. Its proven that adequate doses of daily physical activities in children makes their brain more ALERT, their concentration SHARPER and their motivation to learn higher. After all, it is a school hall right?
