A New Summer ‘Camp’ for Girls 6-15 in Crown Heights! (a)

The Summer Performing Arts Conservatory (SPAC) provides girls, aged 6-15, with the opportunity to learn a whole host of skills in drama, music, art and dance. The goal of the camp is to allow girls to express themselves creatively and develop their natural talents within a Chassidishe environment.

The program is designed to raise the girls’ self-confidence and to increase their self esteem by stressing their talents and encouraging them to go beyond their comfort zones to express themselves in other areas.

Girls have the opportunity to form their own band, experiment with modern dance, record their own songs, design their own costumes and much much more. Weekly evening outings and Farbrenges are also organized.

SPAC provides a unique opportunity to gain skills in the arts within a structured but fun atmosphere. “Thank you so much. My daughter is shining once again”, says a parent of a camper.

The camp is kept small in order to allow each girl to receive the individual attention she needs and so that they can develop a close relationship with their mentors. All the fields are taught by professional and caring teachers.

Registration for second session closes on JULY 20! The girls will have an opportunity to participate in production at the end of the program.

Program starts on 20th July. CALL Debora: (786) 294-3785 or Dana: (347) 366-1556 or visit our website performjewish.com.

with all respect…it looks a little bit too goyishe for my personal taste, but it is not my place to say…it needs a little bit more of aidelkeit,we don’t want to misguide our girls about the “industry” and “entertainment business”,because it looks like a very bad copy of it…it might be a good idea if you try to make it more aidel and jewish and not so hippie-baal teshuvah-park slope looking in my humble opinion.I am not trying to be mean G-d forbid,I just want to give a good critic so you can make it better and improve.

  • modern dance

modern dance is the way you use the body. its a technique…
it doesnt mean modern as in popular culture.

your comment was fully understood and I actually would have agreed with mcuh of what you wrote until i got to the , hippie baal teshuva park slope
i understand the stereotype of park slope but what kind of trash did u intend by writing that wya about baalei teshuva
i am from a gezhe family from ch on shlichus today
bh I was zoche to find shiduchim for myslef and my married sibling with children of baalei teshuva
is there anyone higher on the totem pole in lubavitch than baalei teshuva?!?!
did u ever see the way the rebbe looked at baalei teshuva?
both those that were dressed as typical chasidim and those who were more ‘unique’?
i hope that was a slip and not a freudian slip
especially as from what i read (and now i finaly understand why) some baalei teshuva and their children feel like they are 2nd class citizens in lubavitch

  • To bb
