It was beautiful seeing the shomrim members in uniform were the only jews there standing with the officers, and all the cops appreciating your presence, keep it up

I heard that Deputy Inspector Peter Simonetti was out “patrolling” crown heights with the COP which is why he couldn’t make it to the memorial.

wonder what would happen if a jew would … a cop??

what do we do to them that they somtimes cause so much problems?

the observant officer is right that our community should have made more effort to attend the memorial
    however also take into considiration:
“we dont show up but we dont shoot you”

Yes, it should have been publicized more and I am sure there would have been more of a turnout.

  • you can-t please everyone

I suspect “the observant cop” is simply trying to compliment shomrim and not trying to put all other jews down. Regardless, all other Jews shouldn’t feel bad even if his intention to is put us all down.

You can’t please everyone. Some people are just judgmental and there is nothing to be done about it.
