POCONO SUMMIT, PA [CHI] — Sergeants from the 71st Precinct traveled recently to Pennsylvania to present the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Officers with a Plaque recognizing the outstanding work they have done, capturing the killers of Detective Russell Timoshenko.

POCONO SUMMIT, PA [CHI] — Sergeants from the 71st Precinct traveled recently to Pennsylvania to present the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Officers with a Plaque recognizing the outstanding work they have done, capturing the killers of Detective Russell Timoshenko.
In addition to the plaque the group presented the PMRPD with a donation which will cover the cost of purchasing a K9 police dog.
Robert Ellis and Dexter Bostic were both convicted in the shooting and murder of Det. Timoshenko after a car stop in Crown Heights where the two opened fire on the officers. Officer Herman Yan was also stuck and injured.
The ride to Pennsylvania consisted of members of the NYPD Highway Patrol along with other active and retired police officers. There were a total of 42 motorcycles and 46 persons at the ceremony.

That Sergeant on the left Dolores Pilnacek is a great asset to the community. She puts her all into the job .She has more than 22 years on the force and has made over 900 arrests. Inspector Simonetti should be proud to have her under his command. I am sure he is. I do not know the other officer but I am told he is also a dedicated member.So nice they take their own time to remember a fallen comrade. God rest his soul.
