It is wonderful to see a Crown Heights business thriving. Especially that of a family that helps many others. However, I wonder if it is fair, or dare I say safe, to run a warehouse business on public property. Is it right to just load pallet upon pallet on to the sidewalk where people need to pass? Is it acceptable to force person after person to squeeze-by such a nuisance and hazard? Why are they allowed to run forklifts on a pedestrian street? Should taxpaying citizens, including elderly people and mothers with strollers, be forced to jump out of the way of a full-fledged distribution center being run on the sidewalk of a residential street? I don’t want to even start with the parking issues…
Don’t get me wrong. I have great respect for the Raskin’s, and wish them only increasing success, always. However, it is time to get the warehouse business to where it belongs – off the street, and into a warehouse. The citizens of Crown Heights deserve that simple respect.

It spruced up the neighborhood big time and I’m glad they kept that great phrase, “If it grows, we have it.”

“If it grows, we have it” – don’t animals grow too?! Last I checked they don’t sell meat. Not even poultry (that grows too). And I didn’t see any fish (don’t they grow?). And do they sell trees and shrubs?!
False advertisment! Let’s start a class action lawsuit!!!
