WOW this is amazing. KEEP THE SIMCHAS COMING.
May we share in the Ultimate Simcha of MOSHIACH NOW!!!

  • Just curious

How many of them were girls between the ages of 19-21 and boys between the ages of 23-25—I still see a crisis

  • Still single after many dates

    Great news,

But you really should not post stories like this because it further makes other single boys and girls feel even more dejected. The usual Mazel Tov is enough. This posting does not make anyone feel better.

    Please be more considerate.

  • A chosid

It’s great to see many engagements but there is a major shidduch crisis.A good part of it has top do with phony shadchanim & the attitude ofalout of thr lfb’s &“ Shpitz chabad especially when it comes to people who have been married before or don’t fit the ” proper profile of a stuck up from a money family. Is it any wonder why we have a shidduch crisis for example I know personally of one shadchan who is refusing to help someone because he doesn’t like the man’s landlord that is whatwe are dealing with & one of the reasons why moshiach has not come!!!

  • do what you can to help!

There should be 10 a day, then we could say that maybe the crisis is over. There is still a crisis, and everyone should be doing EVERYTHING they can to try to make a shidduch.

IMYH we should have much more good news soon!

  • totally agree

    totally agree with ‘dejected’

There SO is a Shidduch crisis. . its winderful thar there were so many engagements, but they are just A DROP IN A LARGE NEVERENDING bucket of tears. . lets not step back now, as a result of this news. . on the contrary. . lets do more and more. . until there are 10 A DAY. . . not once in a million years. . there are STILL so so many of us. . so lets not get complacent now. .

Personally , i think you should take this ad off the site.
this is a very sensitive topic for many many people, and the heaqline of this news flash is just Plain Hurtful!

  • Baalas Teshuvah

    BS“D

It is hard not to sound resentful while writing this, but what I find frustrating is that not only is there, indeed, a shidduch crisis. But there is a chunk of the issue that maybe people do not deal with – what to do with the baal teshuvah. B”H there are a lot more baalei teshuvahs – more than any before. And who is helping them? As a baal teshuva myself, I’m constantly reading about shidduchim. But all I read about (places like the Crown Heights Newspaper, for example) is how to help your children. What about those of us who don’t have parents to help us? Most of us don’t have grandparents or aunts/uncles to help us? I feel that there IS a crisis – half the people in Crown Heights are focus on yichus! Who is setting us up? Who is going to marry us??

  • ;0

Let’s have 10 engagements a day, for about 3 months!!
Then we could sAY WHAT sHIDDUCH CRISIS?
    LET’S DO IT!!

  • lets all get along

hi, i’me also single but great news is good and encouraging! no need for so much bitterness! it doesn’t help!

  • shlomo-zalman

one way we can make a difference is to make an extra effort to keep in touch with your single friends- invite them for shabbos, yom tov or even just during the week. Network, get to know people, that’s what makes us a kehilla- community!
