CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — This week the Yagdil Torah Beis Midrash will host Rabbi Yosef Barber, who will be covering the topic of “What You Do If You Don't Have Lechem Mishna”. It is well known that the most fulfilling shiurim are the ones that are thoroughly understood due to familiarity with the subject being learned. Rabbi Barber, who will be giving this week's shiur following the Beis Midrash learning, will kindly provide a list of Marei Mekomos for those who wish to prepare for an enjoyable shiur during the first hour of the Beis Midrash. The list of source texts will be available exclusively at the Beis Midrash.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — This week the Yagdil Torah Beis Midrash will host Rabbi Yosef Barber, who will be covering the topic of “What You Do If You Don’t Have Lechem Mishna”. It is well known that the most fulfilling shiurim are the ones that are thoroughly understood due to familiarity with the subject being learned. Rabbi Barber, who will be giving this week’s shiur following the Beis Midrash learning, will kindly provide a list of Marei Mekomos for those who wish to prepare for an enjoyable shiur during the first hour of the Beis Midrash. The list of source texts will be available exclusively at the Beis Midrash.
It is important to note that the shiur, which will take place at 9:30pm, is only a supplement to the primary focus; which is the Beis Midrash: a convenient and stimulating place to learn independently, with a chavrusa or in a chabura. The Beis Midrash “program” starts at 8:30 and is preceded by Maariv at 8:15 p.m. Individuals seeking chavrusos are encouraged to join Yagdil Torah’s Chavrusa Pairing Program. There are four chaburos; Gemara, Chassidus, Halacha, and Nach. The Beis Midrash is located in Kolel Menachem, 1483 Union St. (Corner Kingston).
