Homework Helpers ~ A Project of the Shluchim Office for Online School Students
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — On Thursday night, December 11th, 20 voluenteers gathered at The Shluchim Office to take part in “Homework Helpers” – a unique project of the Shluchim Office. This project is made up of 10th grade Beis Rivka girls who devote an hour of their time – to help Online School students throughout the world do their homework.

Following homework hour, the volunteers enjoy an exciting activity together. At this meeting, the girls took part in a great chocolate molding workshop with Mrs. Rivky Turner. They designed their own chocolates, made their very own “homework helper” chocolate frames and schmoozed as they enjoyed a delicious chocolate delicacies buffet

Great idea!! Couldn’t we extend this idea to our local kids who need help? Many kids who need help can’t affort the expense of hiring a tutor. This is a great way to help in our own community – inreach is as important as outreach!
