Rabbi Greenfeld’s Class Celebrates Their First Chumash Class

BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — On tuesday 13 Cheshvan Rabbi Greenfeld’s class in United Lubavitcer Yeshiva Ocean Parkway celebrated thier first Chumash class. Traditionally they started learning a few verses from Vaykira first followed by the first Pasuk of the Torah.

Rabbi Greenfeld and Rabbi Barass adressed the children and spoke about the impact their Torah learning makes on high.

After the 12 pesukim were recited every child was given his very own chumash which was followed by dancing. Then the kids were given nosh to teach them that Torah is something sweet. The chumash party is sure to make a lasting impact on the minds of these tinokos shel bais raban.
