As CrownHeights.info has reported that the 71st precinct has received a new Commanding Officer, and apparently this visit was a quick check up on how things are going in Crown Heights. Under the command of Inspector Vega the commissioner dropped in for a visit one night and was displeased with the visibility of the police on the streets, so he ordered a large number of additional officers and cars to patrol with their emergency lights flashing.

In the next few days we will see how satisfied he was with what he saw.
