When i saw the front page of the crown heights newspaper i reminded myself of a pasech more than 30 years ago years ago.

bais rivkah on crown street belonged to crown heights yeshiva and the board wanted to sell it to n organization that would be a disaster to the coomunity. In middle of our seder there was a knock on the door and there was reb Mordchei ob“m and yblch”t reb shomon Goldman. We hurried off the last part of the seder and a meeting started which Lasted literally all night.

it was such devotion to the Rebe and hi shchunah that saved the building. I am sure the rivkin family just like our family can recall many late hour meetings with full devotion to the cause.

On behalf of my whole family, I would like to send my personal condolences to the rivkin family and thank them for my wonderful childhood memories when we visited the Mumeh Hindeh And Feter Mendel Etc. Etc.
