Rabbi Raitport Visits Oholei Torah

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — On Rosh Chodesh Adar Aleph, Rabbi Yitzchok Raitport, a long time friend and supporter of Oholei Torah, came to visit the Institutions and was warmly greeted by the staff and students of Oholei Torah.

Rabbi Herschel Lustig, dean of the Elementary Division, led Rabbi Raitport for a tour of the Cheder, where Rabbi Raitport visited Rabbi Oster’s 8th Grade where they were tested in Mesachtas Macos. Afterwards Rabbi Raitport visited Rabbi Rubinson’s 5th grade class where he saw first hand a new educational intuitive, of teaching the talmidim gemorah via power point.

As Rabbi Raitport entered the Raitport Beis Medrash, he was warmly greeted by the Rosh Yeshiva, and a long time friend, Rabbi Yisroel Freidman. After Rabbi Nosson Blumes, Director of Development, introduced Rabbi Raitport, he gave a shiur to the talmidim on the mesachta they are leaning this year.

After the Shiur and Mincha, Rabbi Raitport sat and tested a small group of Bochurim. At the end of the visit Rabbi Raitport expressed his great admiration to the Hanholas Hayeshiva for keeping such high standards in learning.
