The area of Brooklyn Ave, East New York to Midwood is the center of attention Motzei Shabbos after police surrounded a house where the occupant threatened to shoot cops.

Guns are drawn and ESU is on the way.

Update 9:45pm: Tonight at approximately 7:35 PM while investigating a dispute involving a firearm, officers from the NYPD’s 71st Precinct to the home of the person believed to be the perpetrator involved in this incident. The perpetrator is still inside the residence and being highly uncooperative. There are no injuries reported at this time.

Update 8:45pm: A NYPD Bearcat Vehicle and Sniper Team has arrived on scene.

Update 8:32pm: The NYPD Hostage Negotiation Team has arrived on scene.
