Shomrim Releases PSA Regarding Knife-Point Robberies

Crown Heights Shomrim has released an urgent PSA to the community regarding a string of knifepoint robberies in the community. They ask residents to please keep an eye out for a known perpetrator.

“Over the past week, there have been 3 knife-point robberies/attempts in/near Lefferts Park,” Shomrim wrote. “Thanks to Shomrim volunteers and @NYPD71Pct, the knife-wielding perps were caught and arrested.”

A third suspect, who has been tied to all three incidents, was caught by the police yesterday, but was released when the victim couldn’t immediately identify him. This suspect is believed to be a central figure in the robberies.
