Two Of Those Killed In Yesterday’s Crown Heights Lounge Shooting Were Gunman
Two of the three people killed in a club shooting in Brooklyn over the weekend were shooters who exchanged gunfire, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Monday.
Jamel Childs, 35, and 19-year-old Marvin St. Louis were spotted on surveillance video speaking to each other about 10 minutes before shots rang out in the Taste of the City lounge on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Tisch said.
St. Louis approached Childs and opened fire and Childs retaliated, the commissioner said. Two other gunmen then joined the fray.
