Shots Fired! Shooting Takes Place On Lefferts Ave Over Shavuos

A possible domestic dispute bubbled over Monday afternoon around 4:00pm leading to a shooting that rocked Crown Heights. No one was injured in the incident.

According to people familiar with the incident, a group of people were walking down Lefferts Ave when the dispute appeared to have bubbled over, with one male running off as another pulled a gun and fired three shots at a female he had been conversing with just moments before.

The shots missed and the shooter ran off, without causing any injuries.

The NYPD responded in force to the scene, and was reported to have been investigating the incident, returning Tuesday and looking for further evidence.
