Three Arrested After Stealing An Electric Scooter, And Not Getting Away With It

A quick and efficient response from Crown Heights Shomrim led to the arrest of three people wanted for stealing an electric scooter in Crown Heights.

Shomrim recieved a call around 10:45pm Wednesday night from a victim who had watched as the group of three stole their scooter in the area of Empire Blvd and Utica Ave.

Multiple volunteers responded and quickly tracked down the trio as they remained blissfully unaware they were caught red-handed. Police arrived soon after and were directed to the group by the Shomrim volunteers.

After an investigation the police made the arrests, taking all three to the 71st Precinct to face their actions.
