
NYPD Investigates Shooting In Crown Heights

A shooting is under investigation in Crown Heights after a man was followed, and then shot in the back in a dispute Tuesday night.
According to reports, officers responded to the area of Utica Ave and Crown Street around 9:25pm for reports of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers were met by the victim who stated that he was being followed down the street, and when he arrived at a local barbershop, an unknown perpetrator fired multiple rounds into the barbershop, striking the victim once in the lower back.
The responding officers immediately rendered aid, and requested EMS to the location. The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
At this time, this appeared to have stemmed from a dispute between the two parties, and the shooting remains under investogation.
