
Shots Fired In Crown Heights As Gang Fight Migrates Onto Crown Street

A gang fight migrated into Crown Heights Monday evening with six shots being fired into the widow of a Crown Street apartment. No injuries have been reported in the shooting.
The incident took place at 421 Crown Street on the corner of Brooklyn Ave when a perpetrator approached a first-floor apartment window at approximately 8:40pm and fired six shots into the apartment. The perpetrator immediately fled the scene.
According to reports, the apartment in question is affiliated with gang activity. Officers of the NYPD’s ESU joined officers and breached the apartment, ensuring that no one was shot in the incident.
Crown Heights Shomrim were on scene of the incident and assisted the NYPD with surveillance footage. The investigation is ongoing.
