Grand Theft at The Hustle Wig: Thief Steals Over $30K in Inventory
In the early hours of Tuesday, March 4th, The Hustle Wig, a thriving business specializing in hat wigs, fell victim to a break-in that resulted in the theft of over $30,000 worth of inventory and supplies. The incident, which was caught on surveillance cameras, took place at approximately 3:00 AM when an unidentified perpetrator arrived on a bicycle and proceeded to pick the store’s lock.
Once inside, the thief made off with a significant amount of high-value wigs and materials, carefully loading them onto his citi bicycle. But that wasn’t the end of it. At 5:00 AM, he returned for a second round, stealing additional merchandise along with a panini machine, first aid kit, and other miscellaneous items.
The break-in was immediately reported to authorities, and a detective is now working closely with Hustle Wig to identify and apprehend the perpetrator. Given the value of the stolen goods, the crime has been classified as grand theft. However, police have assured the business owners that there is no indication of a targeted attack or ongoing threat.
Despite the setback, The Hustle Wig remains in high spirits, undeterred by the crime. “We have taken extra security measures and are ensuring our customers still receive the wigs they have ordered,” said a representative from the company.
The owners are urging anyone with information regarding the break-in to come forward as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, the team at The Hustle Wig is pushing forward, determined to rebuild and continue serving their customers with the same dedication and energy as before.
A video of the break-in is available for viewing below. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
