Speedy Arrest Made In Hate Crime Caught on Camera
by CrownHeights.info
“A disgusting verbal and physical assault” was the way Rabbi Yaacov Behrman described the incident that took place on a New York City Subway this week. After reporting the incident to the police, an arrest was made today.
The incident took place Sunday on the #3 line near Bergen Street when a Jewish woman was being harassed by another woman with an unending anti-Semitic diatribe. Pulling out her phone, the Jewish woman recorded as her harasser proudly declared that she was antisemitic. Once the harasser noticed the phone was recording, she physically assaulted the Jewish woman.
“What is equally shocking is that nobody stood up to defend the victim,” Rabbi Behrman pointed out. “What is wrong with society that this has become normalized?”
The victim reached out to Crown Heights Shomrim and the NYPD, filing a police report starting the process of finding her assailant.
By Tuesday afternoon, the offending perpetrator was in NYPD custody, where she will have to face charges for the assault and possibly hate crime as well.

Putting her in jail will make her less anti semitic? Is there a better way to educate her?

@Anonymous – “Putting her in jail will make her less anti semitic? Is there a better way to educate her?”
Answer: Yes, give her free transfer to “Gaza Metro”, so she can be around like minded people.
AH
You don’t “educate” a rabid dog; you put it down.

Of course not!
But it sure might help her keep it to herself next time.
Nobody deserves to get harassed on the subway. Even if you are Jewish.

Yes, give her a pager

Perhaps both are required in this case because she clearly has no respectable boundaries!
