Jewish Man Assaulted in Crown Heights Road Rage Incident

by CrownHeights.info

Hatzalah treated a Jewish man after he was brutally assaulted in a road rage incident on the streets of Crown Heights.

The incident took place 10:20pm near the intersection of Union Street and Albany Ave when a Jewish man arriving in Crown Heights for Simchas Bais Hashoeva was looking for parking. A non-Jewish driver was enraged at the slow pace of traffic and exited his vehicle to confront the Jewish driver.

Words were exchanged and the Jew was punched in the face and had his phone thrown from his hands.

Witnessing the assault, other Jewish passersby attempted to intervene and keep the assailant on scene. The assailant got into his vehicle and nearly rode over one of the Lubavitchers attempting to help as he fled the scene in his car.

Shomrim arrived to assist the victim and Hatzalah was called to provide medical care in the incident.

It would be a great idea for Chabad to employ security, during sukkot. to supplement police Hire plain people as security

I don’t know if CH community does this… But I think it would be a good idea that when a low life waste like this criminal has a court date and that they should be a strong showing of 20 to 30 people in the courtroom from the community.

Let the judge know we are watching what he or she does.

Let the DA know we’re watching what he or she does or says. If they cut them a deal etc

This is a biased account of the event that leaves out information. Hopefully people do their own research and reports like this get taken down
