Two People Arrested In Crown Heights Road Rage Incident

by CrownHeights.info

Yes, traffic in Crown Heights is terrible over Tishrei, but road rage assaults are still illegal.

Two people, one a Lubavitch bochur, were arrested Sunday after a road rage incident crossed precincts and sparked a fight.

Reports indicate that the road rage incident began in the north of Eastern Parkway in the area of Lincoln Pl from Kingston Ave to Albany Ave. The fight continued to the area of Carroll Street and Albany Ave when the non-Jewish participant in the incident cut off the bochur and parked, effectively blocking the entire Albany Ave. Both drivers exited their vehicles and reports claim that the Jewish driver was assaulted and beaten.

Local residents and guests jumped to separate the two and the NYPD was called. According to the report, the bochur fought back, with both drivers inured in the incident.

Hatzalah was also called to treat the victims in the incident. Ultimately the NYPD arrived and arrested both drivers.

We know how aggravating traffic in Crown Heights can be during Tishrei, but remember that assault is still an assault in the United States.

It’s not only tishrei, traffic and parking in CH became unbearable.

Thanks in part to the new smaller streets done over the past few years. and large new building developments with no parking.

When you have a hot headed American bochur who believes “hes got it all”, doesnt make it any better….
