Jewish Girl Robbed of Necklace As Moped Riding Duo Goes On Crime Spree

by CrownHeights.info

A young Jewish girl walking in Crown Heights with a friend was the victim of a snatching Tuesday as a moped-riding duo targets the Jewish community in a crime spree.

Crown Heights Shomrim recieved a call for help from the girl who had her necklace snatched from her neck ten or so minutes before as she walked on a Crown Heights street.

Shomrim volunteers quickly rushed to the area and began canvassing, but the moped riding thieves were already long gone. While the volunteers were still assisting the first victim, a second call to Shomrim reported a second failed attempt by the thieves. The thieves were gone already after their second attempt, but reports filtered in of a third attempt as well.

Crown Heights Shomrim stepped up, posting images and video of the thieves and warning the community to remain vigilant.

A police report has been filed and the possibility is being investigated that the thieves are the same as those plaguing the Williamsburg and Boro Park areas.

CH residents don’t grasp the magnitude of the effect all these homeless and migrant centers coming to neighborhood will have.

    • Drone Fleet Needed for Shecuna Surveillance

How did the assailants on the moped know that the girl had a chain to rob? (The assailants stopped, hid waited to snatch the chain) Was there a third person who walked past the girls and then called the assailants ? Look at their helmets. It looks like the driver is a female. The community deserves the right to use a fleet of drones for immediate sky visual of Shecuna when needed.
