Notorious Crown Heights Thief Caught Yet Again Thanks To Shomrim

While many Crown Heights residents were away for Pesach, the many package thieves of Crown Heights were not on vacation. Thankfully, neither were the volunteers of Crown Heights Shomrim.

One such package thief, a woman, was caught red handed by Crown Heights Shomrim Thursday night after an alert resident called the Shomrim hotline to report a suspicious person in the area of President Street and Albany Ave around 1:00am.

Shomrim volunteers followed the woman and her dog as they went “shopping” on Crown Heights stoops, stealing packages and some porch chairs.

The police were called and soon caught up with her, placing her under arrest and returning the stolen items to their rightful owners.
