Catering Waiter Busted For Stealing In Crown Heights, Placed Under Arrest

A waiter working for a Crown Heights based catering company was busted on camera stealing an expensive coat this past Friday, and was arrested on Monday.

Crown Heights Shomrim received a call for guidance after a Crown Heights woman discovered that her expensive coat and earphones had gone missing from the Oholei Torah building on Eastern Parkway this past Friday. A look at the video cameras found the thief, a waiter for a Crown Heights catering company.

After contacting Crown Heights Shomrim a police report was filed and a sting was set up to catch the thief the next time he came to work in Crown Heights.

On Monday evening, as the thief was working his catering job in Oholei Torah, the police were called. After reviewing the video footage and seeing the police report on the theft they made the arrest.
