Jewish Woman Spat at and Assaulted in Crown Heights Incident

A Jewish woman driving in Crown Heights was spat at and assaulted by a man unhappy with the way traffic was moving.

The incident unfolded near the intersection of New York Ave and Park Place when the Jewish woman found herself unable to maneuver through heavy traffic, and had another unhappy driver immediately behind her.

Frustrated with the delay, the other driver exited his vehicle and approached the Jewish woman’s car. The man then proceeded to spit through the open drivers window and threw a bottle at her which hit her in the head, causing minor injuries.

The Jewish woman called 911 and Crown Heights Shomrim, both who quickly showed up and began searching for the vehicle and assailant who had fled the scene. Unfortunately the man had gotten away and could not be found.

The Jewish woman was thankfully not seriously injured and refused medical treatment at the scene.
