Police Pursuit of Vehicle In Crown Heights Ends In Crash

An NYPD pursuit of a vehicle ended Sunday with a crashed car and a suspect on the run.

According to the Citizen App, the vehicle involved in the pursuit was identified as a white BMW M50 with no visible plates, last seen heading westbound from the initial location on Hawthorne Street. The vehicle was wanted after striking a member of service (MOS) and was later seen heading southbound on Nostrand Avenue.

Soon after, police officers reported the car having crashed into a building and the driver fleeing the scene on foot.

Police have provided a description of the suspect as a male, black, aged 25-30, with a beard, short hair, thin build, wearing a black jacket and sunglasses, last seen fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
