Shomrim Assists In Tracking Down Criminal After Car Break In

An early morning car break in in Crown Heights ended in the favor of justice Friday morning, with the criminal in handcuffs.

Crown Heights Shomrim received a call at after 5:00am from a resident reporting a person breaking into a car. The Shomrim volunteers responded quickly and found the car with its rear window broken.

Thanks to the persistent caller, it was a simple matter to catch up with the criminal and notify 911.

After a quick response by the 71st and 77th precincts the man was in cuffs and off to face justice.

Crown Heights Shomrim thanked both the 71st and 77th NYPD precincts on social media.
