Attempted Mugging Thwarted In Crown Heights

An attempted mugging was thwarted in Crown Heights Sunday evening and the mugger is now on the run, with the NYPD already holding the evidence it needs to make an arrest.

Crown Heights Shomrim was called Sunday evening around 9:30pm for a commotion on Albany Ave.

The Shomrim volunteers responded and arrived to witness a man attempting a mugging with a knife. The mugger fled the scene but left behind the knife, his phone, and his bike which were all taken by police for their investigation.
