Unhinged Man Arrested With the Help of Shomrim after Assault in Crown Heights

An unhinged man spewing anti-Semitic hate who assaulted someone on Kingston Ave found out the hard way that such acts wouldn’t be tolerated in Crown Heights thanks to Crown Heights Shomrim and the NYPD.

Shomrim received multiple calls around 7:10pm Sunday evening regarding the man as he made his way up Kingston Ave from Montgomery Street towards Crown Street sewing anti-Semitic hate and bumping into people.

By the time he had walked up a single block, the man had a host of Shomrim volunteers on his tail who witnessed as he assaulted someone and continued up Kingston. He didn’t get far and was soon stationary and waiting for the police on Kingston Ave between President Street and Union Street.

Shomrim volunteers responded to multiple calls for a male spewing hate, spitting at people, threatening violence, and committing an assault. Thanks to a terrific response he didn't get very far and was placed under arrest by NYPD. #CHSafe #SaferStreets pic.twitter.com/Uuuvp2MG28
