Shomrim Facilitates Arrest After Man Harasses Jewish Woman, Breaks a Store Window in Crown Heights

A man is under arrest Tuesday after harassing a Jewish woman on Kingston Ave and breaking a store glass on Kingston Ave.
Crown Heights Shomrim received multiple calls to Mikvah Meir around 1:25pm Tuesday afternoon for an assault, where a man had attacked a Jewish woman, hurling a bottle at her.
Video provided by Shomrim has the moments leading up to the attack, showing as the man appears to suddenly turn on a Jewish woman and yell in her face.
Shomrim volunteers were there within moments, quickly identifying the attacker and following as he made his way up Kingston Ave. It didn’t take long for the man to perpetrate a second crime, with him smashing a glass pane in the door of Apple Drugs and breaking the glass.
The man was stopped close by and remained on scene with Shomrim until the NYPD arrived. Soon after, he was in cuffs for harassment and damaging the store.
