Shoplifter Caught In Crown Heights Attempting To Steal Deodorant From Empire Kosher

A shoplifter is in custody Monday after being caught red handed attempting to make off with multiple bottles of deodorant. Can we say that as a shoplifter, he stinks?

The offensive thief had stepped into Empire Kosher Monday afternoon and was watched as he slipped bottles of stick deodorant into different articles of clothing, including his socks.

Aware that the man was a thief, the store manager waited until the man left the store before confronting him, calling Crown Heights Shomrim and keeping the man on scene until the police arrived.

Minutes later the police were patting him down, finding deodorant stuffed into his pockets as well as his socks. He was soon in cuffs and on his way to the 71st Precinct.

@NYPD71Pct,” Crown Heights Shomrim wrote on Twitter. “A subject was arrested for shoplifting multiple items.”
