Man Shot On MTA Bus While Traveling Through Crown Heights

A man was shot and injured Tuesday night while on an MTA bus in Crown Heights.

According to the police, the man had been in an altercation with another passenger at around 10:20pm Tuesday night, and when he turned his back, was shot in the buttocks.

The incident, which took place on the B44 bus, happened at a bus stop near Rogers Avenue and Empire Blvd in Crown Heights.

The victim was identified as being a 25-year-old male, with the perpetrator being identified as a male accompanied by a female.

The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
