Two Incidents Outside 770 Lead To Arrests Tuesday Morning

Two arrests were made in front of 770 Tuesday morning, including one that involved an altercation with a knife.

According to reports, a man with a history of mental illness was found in 770 attempting to take a coat left in an area generally designated for lost and found items. When a bochur noticed the man taking something that was not his, he confronted the man, and an altercation ensued.

During that incident, the man pulled out a knife and began threatening those involved, leading to a call to the police and an arrest.

In another incident that took place around the same time, another man was arrested in front of 770 by the police for Petit larceny.
