Shoplifter Arrested After Being Caught Red Handed By Store Manager

A woman is cooling her heels Wednesday after being caught red handed shoplifting from the Marketplace.

Shomrim volunteers responded to the area after the woman was caught by the store manager attempting to leave. When the manager attempted to retrieve the stolen goods, the woman assaulted him and attempted to flee.

The shoplifter only made it a few blocks before Shomrim caught up, keeping her on scene until the police arrived.

She was arrested for he shoplifting and the assault, giving her some time to contemplate her misdeeds behind bars.
