Massive Manhunt Spanning Multiple Precincts Centers in Crown Heights
by CrownHeights.info
An enormous manhunt by the NYPD, much of which was centered in Crown Heights, ended Tuesday morning, bringing hundreds of police officers and helicopters to the Schunah.
The manhunt stemmed from a homicide that took place in the 5th Precinct and a non-fatal shooting in the 77th Precinct Monday, with NYPD officers moving to Eastern Parkway and New York Ave where they cordoned off streets and began searches.
The police are searching for Sundance Oliver, described as 28 years old, 6′-2″ with the letters “M” and “G” tattooed under his left eye and a large green rose with words “rich forever” on his neck. He turned himself into the 77th Precinct a little after 7:00am Tuesday morning. He has twelve prior arrets.
Overnight, the manhunt continued to expand with another shooting at Howard and Dean in Brooklyn and another search in the 67th Precinct.
