Shoplifter Arrested In Crown Heights Due to Alert Store Manager and The Help of Shomrim

A shoplifter just couldn’t get away today after being caught stealing from the Marketplace in Crown Heights.

According to reports, a female was caught by the staff of The Marketplace shoplifting from their store. The store staff and manager gave chase to the thief, attracting the attention of a Crown Heights Shomrim volunteer.

Together they caught the shoplifter at the corner of Lefferts Ave and Kingston, where the staff and volunteers stayed with the woman until the police arrived.

The officers investigated the incident and arrested the woman for Shoplifting.
