by CrownHeights.info

After the rush out of Crown Heights began to wind down, you would think the fun was over. Think again.

Multiple trash fires were lit in Crown Heights as it neared midnight Monday, sparking even more sirens on Empire Blvd, and more aggravation.

According to the police, a person described as a black female in a blue car, had lit at least two trash fires on Empire Blvd near Albany Ave. Firefighters responded and extinguished them.

There were no reports of injuries or significant damage.

The fires follow a relatively peaceful J’ouvert and Labor Day Parade, which saw millions of people descending on Crown Heights and little crime.
