SHOCKING: Vandals Target Jewish Bus In Crown Heights

by CrownHeights.info

In the most recent shocking incident in Crown Heights, a Jewish bus used to ferry camp children around Crown Heights was targeted by vandals, who smashed its windows and attempted to steal it.

The bus, being rented by Can Yisroel CH, had been parked Thursday on Troy Ave near Maple Street when a group of what appeared to be teenage thugs began throwing large stones at the bus and beating it with sticks.

Windows and doors completely smashed, the vandals entered the bus and began to trash it, jamming a set of keys into the bus’s ignition in an attempt to steal it.

A neighboring resident caught the shocking act on video, which was later shared with Crown Heights Shomrim and the police.

Following the vandalism Thursday night, the camp sent out a message to the parents of the campers notifying them of the vandalism and that no bus would be available Friday to pick up the children.

This is the second recent vandalism of a Jewish bus in Crown Heights, with a Bnos Menachem bus also being vandalized just a day before in front of their school.

The vandalism is under investigation by the NYPD and CrownHeights.info will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
